Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva “L’Achille” – Castrum

The demigod Achilles, son of the sea goddess Thetis and the mortal Peleus – king of the Myrmidons of Phthia – hero predestined for the Trojan War and idealized by Homer in the Iliad, has inspired poets, writers, and artists for centuries, including Innocenzo Fraccaroli, who chose an unprecedented interpretation and transformed it into a masterpiece in 1835.

The Castrum wine collection pays the ultimate tribute to both the hero and the sculptor by dedicating to them the Amarone, the king of Valpolicella wines. It reaches its peak when uncorked a few hours in advance and served at a temperature of 18–19°C. The perfect gift for lovers of full-bodied, contemplative wines.
